On October 8th, the Charlotte County Hospital Foundation together with 98.1 The Tide will be hosting our 2nd annual Radiothon. This year our theme is “Visioning for the Future”. We are fundraising to purchase a portable ultra sound machine for the Emergency Department with an estimated cost of $80,500.00.
The portable ultra sound machine will help in early diagnosis of abdominal pain that may signify possible ectopic pregnancies, aneurysms, and other potentially life threatening maladies.
