The holidays can be a difficult time for patients who remain in hospital, and thanks to the compassion and initiative of two dedicated team members, a little extra joy is being shared this season in our Restorative Health Unit.
Pam, Activity Worker, and Tanya, Staffing Support, took the initiative to approach the Charlotte County Hospital Foundation to seek support for Christmas gifts for patients who will be spending the holidays in hospital. Their advocacy helped secure a generous $1,000 donation, ensuring that patients feel remembered, valued, and cared for during this special time of year.
